We wanted to create a gym where the over 40s age group felt absolutely comfortable to exercise safely and at their pace.

Our professional trainers have many years of life experience, are down-to-earth, relatable and have also shared your struggles, so they’ll be able to help you where you’re at.  

Corinne Rayson

Founder + TRAINER

Hi I’m Corinne, and I love helping people step into their potential and I see my work as a Results Coach as my place of service.  Helping people transform their lives, to master their health and feel empowered is such a privilege to me.

 

In my early 20s, I faced a dark period in an abusive relationship, struggling with anxiety, depression, and drug dependency. Through deep introspection and connection with nature, I awakened to the need for personal growth and over time transformed my pain into empowerment.  You can read more about that in The She Leads Book I co-authored HERE.

Over time, using the tools of mindfulness, exercise and nutrition I built a new identity for myself.  No longer the victim, no longer scared of the world… I moulded myself into a warrior.

A fighter, a woman who was willing to do the work.  To stand up and be seen.  No longer afraid. Willing to risk it all for the sake of following my heart and intuition.

And from that place of great effort; self-belief and gratitude followed.  Since then, I have worked as a Results Coach & Personal Trainer for the past 10 years and still to this day find great joy and value in helping women discover the gift of personal empowerment and self belief.

 

Watching women build strength and independence, and care for their bodies fills my heart with joy.   Relieving them from the burden and drama surrounding diet and exercise so they can once and for all implement systems that build the habits of health.

I believe we all have a gift to share in this life and that through mastering our relationship with our body and health we can take great steps forward in living our best lives and fulfilling our own unique potential.

Meet our trainers

Peta

I developed a real passion for health and fitness a few years ago once my kids started kinder/school & I found myself with a few short hours to myself each week.

I love the feeling of being physically and mentally healthy & strong and really want to help motivate & inspire others to feel the same.

I’m love helping clients create long lasting, healthy habits, get fit, strong and generally more mobile and most importantly have fun doing it!

 

Mae

I took a more serious approach to fitness 8 years ago when I went on maternity leave after being made redundant at work – I had to find creative ways to stay physically and mentally fit.

I enjoy being active, experimenting with various movements and I love helping and seeing others discover their strengths.

As a busy mom of two with a full time IT job, I too am familiar with the challenges of finding that work-life-health balance, but with the right tools and assistance I truly believe we can help each other on our journey.

I’ve been a Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor for 12 years. I have a passion for health & decided to get into the industry so that I could play a part in helping people create great health for themselves.

 As the years have gone by and I have become older, I have realised and really connected how important it is to listen to our bodies and nurture ourselves. Exercise is so much more than just bing fit or exercising, it has a huge impact on our mental health and wellbeing. 

I’ve trained all ages ranging from teenagers to people in there 80s and till this day I still LOVE helping people not only move better but watching them grow in confidence, better their mindset and reach their goals.

I love reminding people that a workout is never wasted, no matter how small it is. And that consistency is more important than intensity. 

 

Amy

I’ve done martial arts for 8 years, was a kids martial arts instructor & achieved my black belt in 2017.  

When I was younger, I was so shy to the point whenever I was asked a question, I would turn to my mum to answer for me. Through starting martial arts, I met so many role models who helped me gain confidence & I had the opportunity to teach/help in classes.

This is why I love PT and helping people – I truly want to help people build their confidence and realise their worth (like what my instructors did for me).

Living the healthy lifestyle isn’t only about gym for me. The mental health and wellbeing it gives me is so important. This year, I’ve really focused on this by learning reiki, studying somatic healing therapy and finding healthy ways to deal with the stressors of everyday life such as breath work, yoga etc. 

I love to support Legacy members create a healthier balance in their lives too.

In my spare time I love to get outside. You’ll often hear me say how much I can’t wait for summer. I love going to the beach and nights out of dancing with friends!

 

Emily

I have been in the fitness industry since 2015 when I began running some small group fitness sessions alongside my full time profession as an Occupational Therapist. I am a Mum to two beautiful boys who keep me on my toes but love being active as much as I do! 

I have always enjoyed movement but truly found my passion for exercise in my early 20’s when I joined a bootcamp and began running. Since then I’ve not looked back and always found ways to incorporate exercise and great food into my life, developing some amazing habits and some incredible friendships along the way!

I truly believe I am the best version of myself physically and mentally when I am moving, feeling strong and healthy. I love having the opportunity to empower and motivate others to achieve the same, to focus on their self care and build strong, healthy, functional mind and bodies.
