Frequently asked questions

Is there a beginner class? What if I can’t do everything in the class?

There’s no need to worry, absolutely all our classes can be tailored to suit your unique starting point. Our experienced trainers will work with you throughout the class to ensure you have a great experience and that you leave the studio feeling fabulous!

What can I expect from my first class?

Upon arriving at the studio you will be greeted by one of our experienced trainers who will show you where you can place your belongings. Be sure to bring a drink bottle, towel and wear comfortable clothing and footwear you can move comfortably in.

Please arrive 5-10 min early so our trainers have time to discuss your pre activity questionnaire, including a brief review of your exercise history and a discussion about any modifications you may need.

Our trainers will then take you through a functional warm up and explain the workout.  You can rest at any time during the class to have a drink or catch your breath.  After the workout is complete, we will take you through some cool down stretches to help with your recovery.

I’ve never been to a strength training class before and I feel a tad intimidated...

Trying new things can be scary and we’re glad you chose us for your first strength class. Rest assured, all our classes are filled with women at different stages of their fitness journey.  When you join one of our classes you will be warmly welcomed by one of our expert trainers who will make sure to take you through the class step by step and modify all exercises to suit your starting point.

Which class should I choose?

No matter what your starting point all our classes can be tailored to suit you.  All classes are designed to get results using a combination of strength and cardio based movements.  Some classes place more focus on cardio (Box Fit, Shred and HIRT) while others focus more on Strength training (LIFT Ignite 1, LIFT Ignite 2, LIFT Sculpt).  LIFT Fusion is a one hour long class and has a great mix of both!

How long do classes go for?

In order to maximise your results all classes go for a min of 45 min.  LIFT Ignite 1 & 2 and LIFT Fusion go for 1 hour but can be completed in 45 min if you are time poor.

I’m not fit, should I get fit first?

Absolutely not!  Don’t worry we hear this question all the time.  There is no need to get fit before you come to train with us.  We meet you where you are and are experts at making sure we set you up to succeed.  No whipping or smashing you into shape, we start with modified versions of all exercises and build you up brick by brick.

Do I need to pre-book my classes?

Yes please book your classes – that way we can plan on your arrival and have everything ready for you.  Once you start your trial you will receive an email with the link to the gym master app where you can go ahead and view the schedule and book your classes.

How much does it cost?

Depending on your goals, how many times you would like to train and if you want to include Nutrition Coaching,  we have different membership options ranging between $35 – $97 per week.

Is there a minimum term or sign up fee?

Our memberships start with a minimum 12-week commitment because we’re firm believers that true progress unfolds with consistent dedication. It’s not just a timeframe; it’s the foundation for lasting transformation. 

There is no sign up fee for any of our Training Memberships. 

There is a sign up fee of $99 for our Nutrition Coaching program to cover the cost of your printed manual, recipe book and online coaching set up. 

Where should I park?

Parking is easily available at the train station parking opposite the studio for our 5am, 6am, 5.30pm or 6.30 pm classes.  Parking on James St, next to the RSL  is best for our 9.30am classes.  It’s less than a 2 min walk from James St.

What should I bring?
